Lansdowne Technologies Inc. is a recognized leader in the area of risk management programs and has extensive experience in the provision of a wide range of services to clients facing both traditional and emerging challenges in the new security environment.
We offer support for your security-related programs in five key areas:
Our team of experts has integrated security program/project components, contributed to organization success, and ensured the enhanced protection of personnel, materiel, information, infrastructure, and facilities, to reflect the changing risk environment. This integration has been achieved though benchmarking security standards, developing security management frameworks, preparing Security Design Briefs for new construction, integrating technology solutions, completing comprehensive threat and risk assessments (Harmonized Threat and Risk Assessment, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), CPTED, and tailored assessments). The Lansdowne security team monitors domain trends to continually enhance our security assessment methodologies and leverage emergent best practices.
Lansdowne’s Business Continuity Professionals (BCP) have developed strategic departmental business continuity strategies and plans to ensure the provision of uninterrupted critical services. This strategic business continuity planning process includes testing, exercising, assessing and validating existing plans, in addition to introducing new BCP programs.
Recent world events, including September 11th, ice storms, power outages and other terrorist and cyber threats, have highlighted the need to ensure the protection of all critical assets. Increased threat and the corresponding demands on security have put extensive pressure on the maintenance of infrastructure as a vital part of service to Canadians. The current gaps in Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) services leave no guarantee that governments and businesses at any level will be able to provide expected services in a consistent and timely manner.
Lansdowne is a forerunner in the development of CIP programs, strategies and policies for federal government clients. With a detailed and current knowledge of the constantly changing threat environment, our CIP teams of certified professionals use proven methodologies to conduct analyses of vulnerabilities and risks and provide solid mitigation and continuity strategies.
Lansdowne has the expertise required to provide governments and Critical Infrastructure operators in all sectors to develop comprehensive and integrated CIP programs and to evaluate the state of CIP and interdependencies. T he resulting program encompasses policy, concepts of operation, and integration into other security programs and threat and vulnerability assessments, and is designed to lead to the development of CIP risk mitigation strategies, safeguards and countermeasures.
We can offer support for your Critical Infrastructure Protection Program in five areas:

CIP Plans: Our CIP plans are aligned to the organization’s strategic CIP program and policy to ensure integration into: other security programs; threat and vulnerability assessments of critical departmental infrastructure; and, the development of CIP risk mitigation strategies, safeguards and countermeasures.
