SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Programs
Recent world events, including September 11th, ice storms, power outages and other terrorist and cyber threats, have highlighted the need to ensure the protection of all critical assets. Increased threat and the corresponding demands on security have put extensive pressure on the maintenance of infrastructure as a vital part of service to Canadians. The current gaps in Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) services leave no guarantee that governments and businesses at any level will be able to provide expected services in a consistent and timely manner.
Lansdowne is a forerunner in the development of CIP programs, strategies and policies for federal government clients. With a detailed and current knowledge of the constantly changing threat environment, our CIP teams of certified professionals use proven methodologies to conduct analyses of vulnerabilities and risks and provide solid mitigation and continuity strategies.
Lansdowne has the expertise required to provide governments and Critical Infrastructure operators in all sectors to develop comprehensive and integrated CIP programs and to evaluate the state of CIP and interdependencies. The resulting program encompasses policy, concepts of operation, and integration into other security programs and threat and vulnerability assessments, and is designed to lead to the development of CIP risk mitigation strategies, safeguards and countermeasures.
